Srinagar, Jan. 13 -- A welcome and historic development has taken place for the employees of the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) with the approval of long-pending Time Bound/In-Situ promotions. Following the approval, the Academy has issued Order No. 01 of 2026, under which 34 Non-Gazetted and Class-IV employees have been granted In-Situ promotions. The decision has been implemented in light of the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting held on July 9, 2025, which was convened after a long gap.
