Srinagar, October 13, Oct. 13 -- The annual water sports festival Jashn-e-Dal 2026 commenced at Dal Lake in Srinagar on Tuesday, bringing together sports enthusiasts and cultural performers to celebrate Kashmir's rich heritage and traditions. Additional Director General of Police Nitish Kumar inaugurated the festival by releasing tricolour balloons in the presence of senior police officers. Colourfully decorated Shikaras carrying cultural contingents added to the festive atmosphere at the iconic lake.
