Srinagar, June 1, June 2 -- The Directorate of Youth Services & Sports, Jammu and Kashmir, has rejected media reports alleging denial of salary to Physical Education Teacher Bilquis Mir for over two years, terming them factually incorrect and misleading. In a statement, the department said salary processing requires mandatory verification of Service Book, Last Pay Certificate (LPC), pay fixation, admissible pay, and recoveries, if any.
