Srinagar, Oct 21, Oct. 21 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday paid tribute to police personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty, stating that 1,016 J&K Police personnel had made the supreme sacrifice in the fight against terrorism. The Lieutenant Governor led the Police Commemoration Day ceremony at the Police Memorial in Zewan, Srinagar, where he laid a floral wreath and paid homage to the fallen personnel. He also took the ceremonial salute during the parade and observed a two-minute silence in their memory.
