Srinagar, Oct 7, Oct. 7 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle, ordering the transfer and posting of 49 IAS and JKAS officers with immediate effect. The changes were approved through Government Order No. 1612-JK(GAD) of 2026, issued by the General Administration Department on October 7. The reshuffle covers several key departments and senior administrative positions across the Union Territory. Shaleen Kabra, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Jal Shakti Department, has been given additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Revenue Department.
