Jammu Srinagar Highway Partially Reopens, LMVs Allowed Towards Srinagar
Jammu, July 23, July 23 -- The Jammu Srinagar National Highway has been partially reopened for traffic, with authorities allowing the movement of Light Motor Vehicles, LMVs, towards Srinagar after road conditions improved. Traffic officials said LMVs were permitted to move from Jakhani in Udhampur towards Srinagar after restoration work made the highway partially motorable. Officials said traffic movement remains regulated and urged commuters to follow the instructions of traffic police and adhere to official advisories while travelling on the highway.
