Srinagar, June 2 -- Naval warfare, at its most fundamental, is about control of geography. The force that chooses where to fight holds an advantage over the force that must respond. India's carrier strike group, operating across a maritime arc stretching from the Persian Gulf to the Andaman Sea, can choose the time and location of engagement.
