Srinagar, June 14 -- Blood donation is regarded as one of the noblest acts of humanity because it has the power to save lives. A single unit of donated blood can give a critically ill patient a second chance at life and bring relief and happiness to an entire family. In emergencies, accidents, surgeries, cancer treatment, and pregnancy-related complications, timely availability of blood often becomes the difference between life and death.
