Srinagar, July 21, July 22 -- Jammu and Kashmir witnessed widespread heavy rainfall on Tuesday with Kathua district recording the highest showers and most places in the Valley recording below-normal maximum temperatures, the India Meteorological Department said in its evening update.According to IMD data, Srinagar recorded a maximum of 24.2degC, 5.7degC below normal, and a minimum of 20.0degC.Jammu city recorded 25.3degC, 8.2degC below normal, with a minimum of 24.4degC.Other stations like Qazigund 23.0degC, Kupwara 23.2degC, Kokernag 23.5degC, Banihal 22.0degC, Batote 21.3degC, Katra 23.1degC and Bhaderwah 21.5degC also stayed below normal for this time of year.Gulmarg led the Valley with 29.4 mm of rain in 24 hours, followed by Qazigund...
