Srinagar, May 11, May 12 -- The government on Monday ordered reconstitution of a High-Level Committee to monitor the conduct of Departmental Promotion Committees (DPCs) across all departments in the Union Territory, aimed at ensuring timely promotions and addressing stagnation in government services. As per Government Order No. 895-JK(GAD) of 2026 issued by the General Administration Department, the high-level Committee has been reconstituted in supersession of all previous orders on the subject.The committee will be chaired by Anil Kumar Singh, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), PW (R&B) Department.
