Srinagar, Aug 26, Aug. 26 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government has formally ordered that the suspension of an In-charge Executive Engineer arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau in March this year will be treated as effective from the date of his arrest. According to a government order, Er. Manzoor Ahmad Dar, In-charge Executive Engineer on deputation to PHE Mechanical Division, South Awantipora, was arrested by ACB Srinagar on March 28, 2026, in connection with FIR No. 02/2026 registered at Police Station ACB Anantnag. Following his arrest, the Jal Shakti Department placed Dar under suspension through Government Order No. 55-JK(JSD) of 2026 dated April 7, 2026.
