Srinagar, Oct 14, Oct. 15 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government has adopted the Class-IV Services (Special Provision) Regulations, 2014, of Jammu and Srinagar Municipal Corporations as the basis for formulating a similar regularisation mechanism for eligible casual labourers, contingent paid workers, consolidated workers and other similarly placed employees working in Urban Local Bodies across the Union Territory. According to Government Order No. 214-JK(HUD) of 2026, issued by the Housing and Urban Development Department on October 14, the Jammu/Srinagar Municipal Corporation Class-IV Services (Special Provision) Regulations, 2014, shall be adopted mutatis mutandis for the purpose.The order covers eligible casual labourers, contingent-paid...
