Srinagar, Sept. 24 -- Srinagar, Sep 1The Group of Concerned Citizens J&K (GCC) has expressed serious doubts on the Government's will and wherewithal in ensuring protection of rivers , lakes and other water bodies in different areas of Jammu & Kashmir. Raising alarm on the reports of wanton unlawful interference with ANCHAR lake and Brar-e-Nambal lagoon in Srinagar, besides recent attempts of encroachment of Dal and Nigeen lakes on the North of NFR ( Northern Foreshore Road), the Group has appealed the Government to come down heavy on those involved and take all such steps as may be necessary to " rule out such unlawful interference with impunity " .A GCC statement here today said that " the need to assign ANCHAR and Brar-e Nambal to the c...
