Srinagar, Sept 17, Sept. 18 -- The fresh snowfall was recorded at Kabul Gali in north Kashmir's Gurez Valley on Thursday while widespread rainfall lashed Kashmir with several areas in south Kashmir receiving heavy showers. According to MeT official, Srinagar recorded 8.2 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours, while Qazigund, Pahalgam and Gulmarg received 13.4 mm, 13 mm and 13.2 mm, respectively.Heavy rainfall was also reported from parts of the Jammu division.Udhampur received 117.8 mm of rainfall, followed by Jammu with 112.9 mm and Katra with 45.2 mm during the same period.At an altitude of around 4,167 metres, Kabul Gali in Gurez received light to moderate snowfall, leaving the high-altitude pass and adjoining areas covered in a fresh la...
