Udhampur, July 18, July 18 -- Five Amarnath pilgrims, including the driver, were injured after a vehicle carrying devotees to the Shri Amarnath Cave Shrine crashed into a parked dumper near Sangoor Chowk in Udhampur district on Saturday. Officials said the Baltal-bound Innova, carrying seven occupants, reportedly hit the parked dumper after the driver attempted to overtake another vehicle. Five of the seven passengers sustained injuries in the accident and were promptly shifted to Government Medical College (GMC), Udhampur, for treatment. Police have registered the incident and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
