Srinagar, Aug 11, Aug. 12 -- Continuing its enforcement activities across the Union Territory to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, Food Safety Officers of the Food & Drugs Administration (FDA), J&K conducted inspections of food establishments across the various districts of J&K. During the enforcement drive, 190 inspections were conducted across all districts and 181 food samples were lifted for quality and safety testing. The samples included 47 samples of Ice Cream, 53 samples of Food Grains and Pluses, 35 samples of Fruit Beverages, 23 samples of Dairy Products, 21 samples of Meat Products and two samples of Bread.The food samples lifted during the drive have been forwarded to the concern...
