Srinagar, April 4 -- In view of the prevailing geopolitical situation affecting petroleum supply chains, the Directorate of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Kashmir has intensified its monitoring mechanisms to ensure uninterrupted availability and delivery of petroleum and LPG products to consumers across the valley. The Directorate is conducting regular inspections to curb hoarding and black marketing of petroleum products. So far, a total of 2427 inspections have been conducted across the Kashmir Division from 19 March 2026, during which 14 cases of hoarding and 6 cases of black marketing have been detected.
