Srinagar, Oct 4, Oct. 4 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir has filed two separate chargesheets against a Kupwara resident in cases involving alleged cheating, forgery, impersonation and fraudulent collection of money from people seeking jobs. The accused, Abdul Majeed Mir, son of Abdul Rahim Mir and a resident of Kalaroos Lishtiyal in Kupwara, has been chargesheeted before the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar, in connection with two separate FIRs. In the first case, FIR No. 13/2026, investigators alleged that Mir obtained Rs. 2.10 lakh from a person by promising to arrange employment.
