Srinagar, Aug. 30 -- Assam Rifles celebrated Raksha Bandhan with 22 internally displaced women at the Kinepna Women Empowerment Centre, Tuibong, Churachandpur, on August 28, highlighting the values of trust, protection, solidarity and community partnership. The celebration carried special significance as the women, who have been receiving crochet training at the Kinepna centre, handcrafted Rakhis themselves and tied them on the wrists of Assam Rifles personnel.The handmade Rakhis transformed a traditional festival ritual into a meaningful expression of resilience and hope.
