Chadoora/April, April 20 -- 19: Efforts to revive the traditional Dhamali dance in the Valley are gaining momentum, as a 10-day Dhamali dance workshop organized by Shukri Shah Dhamali Dance Centre, Gopalpora Chadoora Budgam, successfully concluded at Gogjipathri. The valedictory function of the workshop was held at Government Higher Secondary School Gogjipathri Chadoora. Principal of the institution, Miraj-ud-Din Pal, attended the event as the Chief Guest, while Chairman of the All Kashmir Folk Artists Association, Shahjahan Ahmad Bhagat graced the occasion as Guest of Honour.The workshop was with financial assistance under the CFPGS (Cultural Functions and Production Grant Scheme) of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
