Delhi Court Allows Dignified Disposal of Remains in Red Fort Blast Case
New Delhi, July 13, July 13 -- A Delhi court has granted permission to the National Investigation Agency, NIA, to dispose of the biological remains recovered from the November 2025 Red Fort car bomb blast, including those of the victims and the alleged mastermind, Dr. Umar Un Nabi from Kashmir, after the agency informed the court that all forensic and investigative examinations had been completed. The order was issued by the Patiala House Court, which directed the NIA to ensure that the disposal is carried out with dignity and in accordance with the religious customs of the deceased.
