Srinagar, May 4, May 5 -- Group of nineteen teachers associated with the Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir have expressed serious concern, stating that their promotion to the post of Master-already approved by the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK)-has still not been implemented. According to the teachers, their Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) process has been completed, and the department has issued the promotion orders of eligible candidates on 27 February 2026. However, they have been the "dropouts" from the promotion list of 27/06/2024 and, to this day, have not been given their postings.
