Srinagar, July 23, July 23 -- Amid inclement weather, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar and Chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Akshay Labroo, on Thursday reviewed flood preparedness and the prevailing situation during a visit to the Flood Control Room at Ram Munshi Bagh. Chairing a high-level meeting with senior officers, the DC assessed water levels, gauge readings, discharge trends and the preparedness of various departments to respond to any weather-related emergency.
