Srinagar, Sep 22, Sept. 22 -- Casual and daily-wage employees working in various government departments held a protest in Srinagar on Tuesday, calling for higher wages and regularization of their services. The demonstration was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Casual/Daily Wagers Forum under the leadership of its president, Sajad Ahmed Parray. The workers said their demands for regularization and improved wages have remained pending for years. They appealed to the administration to take concrete measures to resolve the issues affecting them.
