Kulgam, Sep 17, Sept. 17 -- Daily traffic congestion in the Khudwane area of Qaimoh in south Kashmir's Kulgam district is causing severe inconvenience to commuters, with traffic movement reportedly remaining disrupted for hours. Locals said the congestion has become a regular problem, leaving patients and their attendants travelling to hospitals in Anantnag and Srinagar facing prolonged delays. Ambulances, school buses, government employees and other commuters are also reportedly getting stuck in lengthy queues on a daily basis. Residents said the traffic bottleneck has persisted despite repeated disruptions, alleging that no effective measures have been taken to ensure smooth movement of vehicles through the area.
