Ganderbal, Aug 13, Aug. 14 -- Observing the Anti-Ragging Week 2026, Department of Law, School of Legal Studies, Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir), organised an awareness programme for the students on the theme "Yaari: Youth Against Ragging - Say No to Ragging", in the department here. Addressing the participants, Dean and Head, SLS, Prof. Farooq Ahmad Mir, described ragging as punishable under law and prohibited within the university.He highlighted that ragging could have serious and sometimes irreversible consequences for both the perpetrator and the victim.
