Child Labour: A Crime Against Childhood
Srinagar, June 12 -- Every year on June 12, 'World Day Against Child Labour' is observed, which was initiated in the year 2002 by the International Labour Organization (ILO) with the objective of freeing children from labour and securing their childhood. In the year 2026, the theme of this day is 'Red Card against Child Labour: Fair Play for Children, Decent Work for Adults'. Child labour is swallowing the fundamental rights of children as well as their life prospects.
