Leh, Oct 20, Oct. 20 -- The Government of India has approved the phased recruitment of 103 posts for Government Medical College (GMC), Leh, to address the institution's staffing requirements ahead of the commencement of academic activities. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has informed the Ladakh administration that the recruitment process will be conducted in phases, based on the academic needs of the medical college. The recruitment is scheduled to begin from the academic year 2027-28 and will be undertaken by the Union Territory administration.
