Jammu, Mar 18, March 19 -- Jammu police have issued a public appeal for information, photographs, and video recordings from attendees of a marriage function where National Conference president Farooq Abdullah was targeted in an assassination attempt.A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to probe the incident, which took place on March 11 at the Royal Park banquet hall in the Greater Kailash area. Police said the 63-year-old former chief minister narrowly escaped harm when a gunman, identified as Kamal Singh, opened fire as he was leaving the function.
