Srinagar, Aug. 18 -- The Assam Rifles, in coordination with Churachandpur Lady Police, recovered approximately 2.364 kg of Heroin No. 4, valued at around Rs.4.7 crore, during a joint search operation in Churachandpur district on August 14. Acting on joint intelligence inputs, the security forces conducted a search at a suspected house in the district as part of ongoing efforts to disrupt illegal narcotics networks operating in the region.During the operation, personnel recovered 197 soap cases containing the suspected contraband.
