Assam Rifles save drowning child in Manipur
Imphal, July 20, July 21 -- A four-year-old boy was rescued from the brink of death after personnel of the Assam Rifles acted swiftly to provide life-saving emergency medical care following a drowning incident in Kangkap, Churachandpur district of Manipur. According to officials, the child was brought to the Assam Rifles base in an unconscious state after reportedly drowning. Realising the critical nature of the situation, the medical team immediately initiated cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and administered emergency treatment.The prompt intervention helped revive and stabilise the child, whose condition had become critical due to the incident.
