Kohima, April 27, April 29 -- Assam Rifles paid solemn tribute to Rifleman (Late) Jaman Singh at the Unit War Memorial in Kohima, commemorating his supreme sacrifice in the line of duty in 1961. The wreath-laying ceremony was conducted with full military honours, where Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), and troops gathered to pay respect to the fallen soldier.
