Imphal, May 11, May 12 -- Assam Rifles celebrated Mother's Day on 09 and 10 May 2026 across Tengnoupal, Pallel, Moreh and Kamjong districts of Manipur, bringing together women and students from Naga, Meitei and Kuki communities in a series of outreach programmes aimed at promoting unity and social harmony. The events saw participation of around 220 local women and 90 students, focusing on themes of women empowerment, healthcare awareness and community cohesion.
