Shillong, Aug 25, Aug. 26 -- Director General Assam Rifles Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, felicitated retiring personnel at a solemn Samman Samaroh held at Headquarters DGAR, Laitkor, Shillong, on Monday. The ceremony honoured 149 personnel, comprising one officer, 58 Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), 87 Other Ranks (ORs) and three civilian staff members, who are scheduled to superannuate on August 31, 2026.The event recognised their decades of dedicated, distinguished and selfless service to the nation.
