Silchar, April 25, April 26 -- Assam Rifles, in coordination with Cachar Police and the Field Intelligence Team, successfully busted a narco-arms module during an operation at Bhaskhandi in Silchar, based on precise intelligence inputs. Acting swiftly on the information, the joint team launched an operation that led to the recovery of a pistol along with ammunition, as well as a scooty allegedly used for transporting narcotics. During the search, narcotic substances concealed in soap cases were also seized, weighing approximately 377.4 grams, out of which 108 grams tested positive in preliminary checks.
