Artisan Bashir seeks CFC for willow craft revival
Srinagar, July 5, July 6 -- As traditional crafts across Kashmir face mounting challenges from changing markets and declining interest among the younger generation, veteran willow artisan Bashir Ahmad of Ganderbal has called for the establishment of a Common Facility Centre (CFC) to revive the region's centuries-old willow wicker craft and create sustainable employment opportunities for local youth.
