Srinagar, July 23, July 24 -- The Indian Army, through the Red Shield Division under the Spear Corps, continues to provide extensive humanitarian assistance in the flood-affected districts of Sivasagar, Charaideo and Jorhat in Assam, despite challenging weather and difficult terrain. Officials said Army flood relief columns have been carrying out round-the-clock rescue and relief operations to assist stranded families and restore normalcy in the affected areas.As part of the ongoing operations, more than 1,000 people have been rescued, while over 200 individuals have received medical assistance through Army medical teams deployed in the flood-hit regions.Relief columns have also distributed essential supplies, including food, drinking wat...
