Srinagar, Sep 11, Sept. 11 -- A young woman from the remote Mawarhanwara area of Kashmir has turned her dream of becoming a doctor into reality, overcoming geographical challenges, social taboos and limited educational opportunities along the way. An alumna of Army Goodwill School (AGS) Nogam, she qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in 2019 and went on to pursue medical education. She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla in 2025. She has now appeared for the postgraduate medical entrance examination in 2026 and plans to continue her medical training through postgraduate studies.
