Army extends flood relief to Assam
Sivasagar, Aug 19, Aug. 20 -- Stepping up humanitarian assistance in flood-affected areas of Assam, formations under Spear Corps, in collaboration with local NCC cadets and NGOs, conducted a three-day Mega Medical and Veterinary Camp in Sivasagar district from August 16 to 18. The camp was organised across Barhoiting, Chintamoni Ghar and Nimaijan, providing critical healthcare and veterinary assistance to communities affected by flooding.A total of 931 civilians received medical consultations, health screening and free medicines during the camp.
