Jammu, July 11, July 11 -- Chief of the Army Staff General Dhiraj Seth on Saturday honoured Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Khour, Satish Sharma, for his leadership and coordination during Operation Sindoor, under which more than 73,000 civilians were evacuated from villages along the Line of Control (LoC). Sharma was recognised for overseeing one of the largest civilian evacuation efforts in the region, ensuring the safe relocation of residents from vulnerable border areas during a period of heightened security concerns.
