Srinagar, August 4, Aug. 4 -- More than 1.20 crore people across Jammu and Kashmir have been reached through awareness and outreach initiatives carried out under a Centre-supported anti-drug campaign, according to official data released by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The figures indicate that the campaign has covered more than 69.14 lakh young people and 51.20 lakh women across the Union Territory through various awareness programmes and outreach activities. As many as 8,565 volunteers have also been engaged in the campaign in Jammu and Kashmir.
