Anantnag, August 24, Aug. 24 -- Several densely populated neighbourhoods in the old parts of Anantnag town continue to face civic infrastructure deficiencies, with residents calling for greater accountability and a more balanced approach to development. Residents of Kadipora, Mattan Chowk, Lal Chowk and Malaknag said several internal roads and lanes have seen little substantial improvement for years. According to them, some of these roads were last properly repaired around 2005 and have since received limited attention.
