Srinagar, June 23, June 24 -- The administration has granted permission for the traditional 8th Muharram procession scheduled to be held on June 24, allowing mourners to take out the procession from Guru Bazar to Dalgate via Budshah Kadal and M A Road, subject to strict adherence to laid-down conditions. According to an order issued by the District Magistrate Srinagar, the permission has been granted, following a report submitted by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Srinagar.As per the order, the procession will commence from Guru Bazar at 6 am with the tail crossing Jehangir Chowk by 7 am and J&K Bank Headquarters on M.A Road by 8.30 am, following the traditional route only.The administration has directed that only one tube of M.A Roa...
