Srinagar, Aug 17, Aug. 18 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has filed a chargesheet against 10 persons, including seven officials of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), for allegedly facilitating illegal and unauthorised construction in Batamaloo. The chargesheet in FIR No. 06/2023, registered at Police Station ACB Srinagar, was filed before the Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Srinagar. The accused include seven SMC officials and three private individuals.According to the ACB, the case relates to alleged abuse of official position, criminal conspiracy and extending undue benefits to private beneficiaries in connection with unauthorised construction in Ward No. 28, near Tiny Hearts School.The case was regi...
