Srinagar, Sept. 20 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly is set to meet at a time when public expectations are high and everyday concerns demand serious attention. The upcoming session should therefore be more than a routine exercise in speeches, questions and political exchanges. It should be a working session focused on the issues that directly affect people's lives. The strength of a legislature is measured not by the noise inside the House, but by the seriousness with which it addresses the concerns outside it.
