Srinagar, March 19 -- Directorate of Agriculture Kashmir today successfully concluded a comprehensive seven-day training program on Scientific Beekeeping for beekeepers from the Kashmir Division. The valedictory function was held at the Agriculture Complex, Lalmandi, Srinagar. The training program, which commenced on March 13, 2026, was inaugurated by Director Agriculture Kashmir, Sartaj Ahmad Shah. It was designed to promote beekeeping as a sustainable livelihood option and to equip participants, both existing and aspiring beekeepers, with modern, scientific techniques in apiculture.
