Srinagar, Sep 2, Sept. 2 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government has approved the promotion of 11 Inspectors from the General Cadre to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police. According to an order issued by the Home Department, the promotions have been granted with immediate effect in Pay Level 8, with a pay scale of Rs.47,600 to Rs.1,51,100. The officers promoted to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police are Sheikh Azad, Imtiyaz Ahmad, Bashir Ahmad, Mohd Amin, Mohd Alyas Malik, Sanjeev Kumar, Mohd Farooq, Bahar Ahmad, Mushtaq Ahmad, Mir Riyaz Ahmad and Faroog Ahmad.
