Srinagar, June 5 -- Government College of Education, Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (GCOE-IASE), M.A. Road, Srinagar, organized a "Trash to Treasure" Exhibition on the occasion of World Environment Day 2026. The event was jointly organized by the Department of Environmental Sciences (EVS) and the NSS Units of the college at the Front Park. The exhibition featured innovative and creative items prepared by B.Ed. 1st Semester and UG 4th Semester students using waste and discarded materials. Through their exhibits, the students highlighted the importance of waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and sustainable living practices.
