South Africa, June 2 -- From 29 May to 2 June 2026, Rand Water's planned 96-hour maintenance shutdown is set to affect large parts of Johannesburg, including township communities such as Soweto, Orange Farm, Diepsloot, Alexandra and surrounding areas.

While households may experience the disruption as a temporary inconvenience, for many small businesses the impact could be far more severe.
