South Africa, Nov. 2 -- Called Skilling Africa with Google, the platform brings together existing Google training programmes covering AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, digital marketing and small business development.

The hub is designed to work on entry-level smartphones and slower internet connections, with learners able to download lessons over Wi-Fi and complete them without using mobile data.

No app download is required. Users can access the platform by signing in with a Google account.
